FABRIC CARE GUIDE

COTTON

Cotton is soft, breathable, and gentle on the skin—we often use it as a lining material, to make dresses opaque, or to make them particularly comfortable for everyday wear.
Care instructions:
  • Machine wash at max. 30 °C
  • Use mild detergent
  • No fabric softener – this can damage the natural fibers in the long term
  • Hang to dry
  • Iron at low to medium temperature if necessary
Tip:
Wash cotton only as often as necessary to maintain its soft texture over time.

LINEN

Linen is a breathable natural fiber valued for its durability and timeless texture.
Care instructions:
  • Wash cold on a gentle cycle (max. 20°) or by hand
  • Use a mild, natural detergent
  • Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals
  • Hang to dry or lay flat – please do not tumble dry
  • Iron at low to medium temperature
  • Linen may shrink naturally by 3-5% during the first wash
A notice:
Linen gets softer with each wash – that’s one of its special properties!

BAMBOO VISCOSE

Bamboo viscose is luxuriously soft, naturally antibacterial, and an environmentally conscious choice.
Care instructions:
  • Wash by hand or on a delicate cycle at max. 20 °C
  • Use gentle detergent
  • Do not bleach
  • Lay flat or hang to dry
  • No dryer – heat can damage the material
  • If necessary, steam at low temperature or iron carefully
Tip:
Bamboo fabric is particularly sensitive when wet – please do not wring or twist it.

LIGHTWEIGHT FABRICS (E.G. POLYESTER)

We use lightweight fabrics like polyester for a soft, flowing drape and easy care.
Care instructions:
  • Machine wash on a delicate cycle at max. 20 °C
  • Use a gentle detergent
  • Do not bleach
  • Hang to dry or lay flat
  • Steam if necessary
Tip:
For abayas and dresses, we recommend steaming to smooth out wrinkles – please do not iron directly on the fabric.
GENERAL CARE TIP:

Avoid frequent washing – spot clean minor stains whenever possible. This protects the material and reduces environmental impact.
With proper care, your pieces will stay beautiful and accompany you for many years.
